Orientation Program for NSS Volunteers regarding SBCC On 10.06.2022

NSS unit of KVG Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital Sullia in partnership  with RGUHS, Bangalore and UNICEF organized an orientation program on the project “Engagement of NSS Voluntaries for Social and Behavior change among the communities avail Health and Nutrition Services.” On 10.06.2022 at KVG Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital Sullia premises. The program was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Leeladhar D V, Principal, KVG Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital sullia. The guests were Dr. Ashok K, Prof. & HOD, Dept. of Prasoothi Tantra and Stree Roga, Dr. Purushothama K.G, Prof & HOD, Dept of Rasashastra and Bhaishajya Kalpana, CEO of KVG Ayurveda Pharma and Dr.Kavitha B M, Prof., Dept. of Dravyaguna, KVG Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital Sullia. Dr. Pramoda P. A. NSS Program Officer delivered a talk on “Immunization & Vaccination”. Prof. Dr. Ashok K spoke on “Nutrition”

Teaching staff, Non-Teaching Staff, PG Scholars, Internees and UG Students were present. In this Program, NSS volunteers have actively participated.

Dr. Neelambikai Natarajan

Dr. Neelambikai Natarajan has Graduated from Thanjavur Medical College, MD in Physiology from Madras Medical College and MBA in Hospital Administration from Alagappa University.

In her medical service, she worked at Madras Medical College, Madhurai Medical College, Government Medical College Coimbatore, Govt KAP Vishwanathan Medical College, Trichy and in Meenakshi Medical College Kanchipuram.

She was an Ex-Senate member of the MGR University Secretory Ethics Committee. She has completed an advanced course in Medical Education (ACME).
