Free Ayurveda medical Camp Conducted on the occasion of “Azadi ka Amrit Mahothsav” at Gram Panchayath Kanakamajalu on 22.10.2021

Malnourishment in Children is a cause of concern. In this regard Government of India has set up a program to identify undernourished children and give adequate nutritious diet and correct the malnutrition among children. Under the “Azadi ka Amrithmahotsav” 75 years of Independance celebrations, K.V.G. Ayurveda Medical college & Hospital, Sullia in collaboration with Rural water supply & Sanitation department, Gram Panchayath Kanakamajalu, Child and women’s welfare Department, Sullia, organized “Free medical camp for malnourished children” on 22.10.2021 at Gram Panchayath Auditorium, Kanakamajalu.

In this program, Dr. Pramoda P. A., Associate Professor, Department of Kaumarabhritya, NSS program officer, has given a talk on “Management of Malnourished Children”. Dr. Lakshmeesha, Asso. Professor Dept. of Panchakarma, P.G. Scholars and Interns participated in the Camp. Around 34 children were benefited from this camp.

Dr. Neelambikai Natarajan

Dr. Neelambikai Natarajan has Graduated from Thanjavur Medical College, MD in Physiology from Madras Medical College and MBA in Hospital Administration from Alagappa University.

In her medical service, she worked at Madras Medical College, Madhurai Medical College, Government Medical College Coimbatore, Govt KAP Vishwanathan Medical College, Trichy and in Meenakshi Medical College Kanchipuram.

She was an Ex-Senate member of the MGR University Secretory Ethics Committee. She has completed an advanced course in Medical Education (ACME).
