Prasoothi tantra and streeroga forms one of the main branches of Ayurveda. Prasoothi tantra mainly focuses on the regimens followed during pre-conceptional period, during pregnancy and after delivery. Ayurveda the science of life has given more priority for preventive purposes than curative measures. To ensure safe continuation of pregnancy and prevention of early terminations, month wise garbhini paricharya is explained in detail.
Stree roga mainly emphasises on the preventive and curative aspects of feminine problems. It includes pelvic inflammatory disease, dysfunctional uterine bleeding, vaginal infections.
The department of Prasothi tantra and streeroga is well established with departmental library, clinical class room, museum, and HOD and staff room.
In OPD section, various diseases of gynecology and obstetrics are well treated by specialized and experienced doctors. The OPD is well equipped with modern and advanced instruments and techniques. Labour theater (LT) is well advanced with modern infrastructure and equipments. The special gynecological prcedures are carried out with extreme care.
Our hospital also consists of a separate obstetric and gynecological ward for treating the inpatient with all requisite classical procedures.
