On 13.02.2023 visitors from Germany- Carolina and Sharon along with Mr. M.B. Sadashiv, President, M.B Foundations, Sulliavisited KVG Ayurveda Pharma and Research Centre. Pharmacy visit by New Batch of First Year UG Students as a part of Transitional Curriculum - 2023

Visit to KVG AYURVEDA PHARMA AND RESEARCH CENTRE, SULLIA by New batch of First year UG students of KVG Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital as a part of Transitional Curriculum on 11/3/2023, 13/3/2023, 14/3/2023 and 15/3/2023. First year UG student’s visited the pharma and research centre in 4 divided batches. An introduction to the Establishment of our Pharmacy, its brief history, a brief note on functioning of our Pharmacy, products manufactured in our unit, GMP guidelines were explained by the Production Manager Dr.Gopalkrishna Nayak. Later they were taken to different sections of our production unit and were explained in brief about the ongoing production, working of different instruments, maintaining the standards and quality of our products and other details. Dr. Shruthan K, Asst.Prof, Dept of Rasashastra and Bhaishajya Kalpana, Dr.Pavana K.B, Quality Control Head and our Analytical chemists (Rathan Kumar K.T, Shubhashree B.T and Mrs. Vidyamadhavi) explained about the Quality control tests conducted, their need and applications of various instruments used in the lab. There were 52 students accompanied by their Vice principal Professor Dr. Pradeeep H.R. and Assistant professor Dr. Ashwini. They were welcomed and an introduction to our establishment was given by Dr. Purushotham K. G. Prof. and Head, Department of RS&BK and CEO of KVG Ayurveda Pharma and Research Centre. Visit to KVG Ayurveda Pharma And Research Centre by PG Student’s of Muniyal Institute of Ayurveda Medical Sciences, Manipal

On 18/07/2022, 15 Postgraduate Students from Muniyal Institute of Ayurveda Medical Sciences, Manipal visited our Pharmacy. A brief note on the functioning of our Pharmacy, products manufactured in our unit, and GMP guidelines were explained by the Production Manager Dr Gopalkrishna Nayak followed by presenting a video clip of our Pharmacy. They were taken to different sections of our production unit and were explained in detail about the ongoing production, working of different instruments, maintaining the standards and quality of our products and other details. Quality control lab headed by Dr Pavana K B, Asst.Professor, Dept. of Rasashastra & Bhaishajya Kalpana explained in detail about the Quality control tests conducted, their need and applications of various instruments. Students had a discussion with CEO Dr. Purushottham KG. Finally, photographs with the whole team were taken and a few samples of our products were distributed as a token of gratitude. Very good feedback and opinion were given by their students.

On 28/4/2022 Members of the Inspection Committee to inspect the Law Colleges, Bengaluru headed by Smt. Girija Hiremath, Chairperson, Senior Advocate and Syndicate Member, Karnataka State Law University; Dr. Sharada G Patil, Member, Principal and AC Member, Karnataka State Law University and Dr. Anu Prasannan, Convenor, Asst. Professor, Karnataka State Law University’s Law School, Navanagar, Hubballi had visited our GMP Certified Manufacturing unit accompanied by Adv. Uday Kumar, Principal, KVG Law College, Sullia and other staffs during their inspection programme to KVG Law College, Sullia. Dr. Purushottham K G, CEO, KVG Ayurveda Pharma & Research Centre along with other staffs welcomed them, explained the different protocols that we follow and were taken to different sections of the pharmacy. They were impressed with our set-up, complimented for our efforts and wished us great success.

Minister of State for Fisheries, Ports and Inland Transport Department Govt. of Karnataka Mr. S. Angara visited K.V.G. Ayurveda Pharma and Research centre on 4.09.2021. He visited all the sections of the Pharmacy including the Production and Quality control department. He wholeheartedly appreciated the ongoing works of pharmacy under the aegis of K.V.G Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital. He wished the Pharma a grand success. Dr. Purshothama K.G. In her medical service, she worked at Madras Medical College, Madhurai Medical College, Government Medical College Coimbatore, Govt KAP Vishwanathan Medical College, Trichy and in Meenakshi Medical College Kanchipuram.

She was an Ex-Senate member of the MGR University Secretory Ethics Committee. She has completed an advanced course in Medical Education (ACME).
